Assistant Professor of Bioanalytical Chemistry at University of Kansas

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Kansas invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in bioanalytical chemistry, expected to begin in Fall of 2019. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in research, teaching, and service and will contribute to the Department’s expertise in bioanalytical chemistry. This individual will be a member of both the Ralph N. Adams Institute for Bioanalytical Chemistry and the NIH COBRE Center for Molecular Analysis of Disease Pathways at KU. The candidate should have a strong record of research with an emphasis on biomedical applications and a commitment to graduate and undergraduate education in chemistry. A competitive salary will be offered that is commensurate with experience. A Ph.D. in chemistry or closely related field is expected by the start date of appointment and postdoctoral experience is desirable.
